Saterday came and Gone!

Wow Saturday sure did fly by. I'm not sure what all i got done but I guaranty it was nothing i needed to. Ah well! I did get allot done any way.
We went to Kmart 3 times, Yes I said 3 times. We went and bought Shannon's mom a flower decided to give it to someone else went back and got two more went to eat then remembered we needed a new trash can for the bathroom.
I got a new piece of furniture for my office. It took about an hour to put it together. It is actually a Minny dresser and I filled it up in about 2 minutes. Well I guess that is what I bought it for. It gave me allot of room to store things that I need out of the way.
Well i get to spend tomorrow seeing mothers hers and mine. I don't know if I can survive this ordeal or not. Pray for me!!! We have to go to church, head straight to her mother then to mine a busy day for sure. I'll have to go to work to get a brake. lol.
Well I ain't got to much other to complain about all in all not to bad a day. I just praise God for every day busy or not.

Boy Oh Boy

Well it is Thursday and we have had nothing but rain! We canceled church last night due to possible flooding. It was probably a good thing I hadn't had time to get ready a lesson because i am getting certified for my new position. Try getting a sermon or Bible lesson together and study for your test for a new job. I guess even in all that I can find humor. While taking a web based test at home my three year old kept asking me if I was winning? I guess the Lord was telling me to lighten up.
Well tomorrow is Friday and I am glad it has been a long week. With all this training, tests and every thing else life throes at us a weekend looks good! Well my wife said my last post was short, I am not sure that I can type that much and if it wasn't for spellcheck you wouldn't want to read my typing anyway.
Well we are getting ready for our church district Sunday school picnic. I wounder how many complaints we'll get this year? Every meeting I mad it to there where at the most four churches represented. I have to preach in the morning service. I know every year we have a good time. We sing and praise the Lord and always have some good food.
I am cooking dinner as I am typing this listening to my 18 month old cry ready for her nap. While the 3 year old bids for my attention by coughing. I am siting here thinking why am I doing this while I'm cooking? For those who know me know i don't have any sense anyway................. Well I'm done eating now. Not a bad cook if i do say so myself.
Well I am done I have to take some more tests. Pray for me!

Rambling On

You know I just thought I would use this to ramble on. As a minister we sometimes think we are not being listened to so I decided to use this at least I would have proof I Said something. As we start our ministries we are excited that we get to do something for the Lord with the Idea we will be listened to. Boy do we get a surprise! Now understand I am not complaining! It is just a fact.
Well we get our first pastors position and we begin all the duties with an excitement for getting things done. Then we realize no one has the same excitement. We come to realize that it isn't just that church but most of them. We have been doing the same routine for so long that we no longer see the rut we have dug so deep that it has almost became a grave.
I have come to realize that some of that is the ministers fault, some those sitting in the pew. We need to quite trying to find someone to blame and begin to fix the mess we have allowed to happen. I hope you get mad when you read this and realize it is time to get started before the Lord returns and finds you have buried your talon.
So I've taken to much of your time today but I will try to tell the stories of my every day life while I will change the names to keep the not so Innocent, Innocent. See you soon
